Social Issue-Poverty

 India a country with huge number of poverty affected land. Lack of education, a culture of poverty, overpopulation, epidemic diseases such as AIDS and MALARIA and environmental problems such as lack of rain fall leads to poverty. Causes of poverty are changing trends in a country’s economy. And also caste system, unequal distribution of income and resources is another reason of poverty in India.          

                   Going into a survey due for a decade, Indian’s central government is undecided on criteria to identify families below poverty line. Internationally an income of less than $1.90 per day per head of purchasing power parity is defined as extreme poverty. By this estimate, about 21.2% of Indians are extremely poor.

Accelerating economic growth, creating job opportunities, agricultural great growth, raising the minimum wages, accelerating human resource development, supporting pay equity, public distribution system (PDS) are some of the ways to eradicate poverty in our land. Situational, generational, absolute, relative, urban and rural are some types of poverty characterised in India.             

                 It is responsibility of every individual in the society.   to help the people who can’t even meet their daily basic requirements. Everyone should remember that we ar humans and so they too. 

      BE A HUMAN TO HELP THE  HUMAN
